Fife-based professional entertainer and singer-songwriter Bruce Davies makes a special appearance at St Columba’s Church on Braehead Way in the Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, on Sunday at 2pm.

The musician, described by American folk singer Tom Paxton as “one of Scotland’s best singers”, said: “I am a Christian and see my work, not as ‘evangelism’, but as thought-provoking entertainment.

“It’s my hope that people will be entertained, stimulated and encouraged by the songs and feeling of each performance.”

His most recent album entitled Blowin’ In The Wind – The Other Great American Songbook, has been well received, while his most recent Edinburgh Festival Fringe show, Rhymes & Reasons – The John Denver Story, played to full houses.

Proceeds from the show will go to the Senior Citizens Ministry within St Columba’s Church.
