Business skills test for three students
An agriculture student from SRUC’s Craibstone campus in Aberdeen is in the running for a top award.
Jack Cooper, who is in his fourth year of the BSc Agriculture course, is one of three finalists in the AgriScot business skills competition which seeks to assess agricultural professionals under the age of 25 on a range of farm and business management tasks.
The other finalists are: fourth year rural business management student Sarah Hodge, who hails from a family farm in East Lothian, and third year agriculture student Martin Flood who comes from a family beef farm in Ireland.
The three finalists will compete in the final stage of the competition, and the winner will be announced at the AgriScot event on November 20.
