Responsibility for NHS in Scotland
SIR, – I write in response to Margaret Croll (Letters, March 27) denigrating Mr Dennis Grattan’s comments on how the PM is handling the current crisis.
The NHS in Scotland has been under the devolved government’s remit since devolution in 1999 and
the SNP’s “governance” these past 12 years, five of those in the hands of health minister Nicola Sturgeon, who is now first minister.
Is she attacking Mr Grattan for his opinion, or the PM for his leadership, or both?
