More honesty on age of virus victims

-

SIR, – A prominent British TV channel repeatedly shows photomontages of coronavirus victims which suggest that this is a disease mainly of middle-aged or fairly young people.

However, newly released Scottish Government data tells a different story.

People aged 65 and over account for 91% of deaths registered where coronavirus was mentioned on the death certificate.

Can we have a bit more honesty please?
