Beltex to go under hammer

An entry of 50 lots is forward for the inaugural sale of pedigree Beltex females and lambs.

The sale will take place next week using Harrison and Hetherington’s online timed auction system.

Entries include five ewes with lambs at foot, 18 embryo lambs with recipient dams in 16 lots and 30 empty ewe hoggs.

Pictures and videos of the entries are available to view online and bidding will open on Tuesday and run until Friday.

Entries include lots from Aberdeen breeder Stuart Wood’s Woodies flock and the Mair family’s Aviemore flock, based near Turriff.
