Agood rug can completely change the look of a room. From a fluffy sheepskin to a bold pattern or a traditional look – a rug is worth investing in.
Have a look around before you splash the cash, and read reviews where possible.
Opt for a rug which will fit with your lifestyle.
If you have children at home, it’s perhaps best to opt for darker colours or busy patterns so as to hide marks from spills.
Similarly, if you have pets, dogs in particular, think how the hair would look gathered on the surface.
Settle on the room where you want the rug to go, and double check your measurements. Too big will be a hindrance, too small will just look silly.
