Halloween is s t ay i n g home this year with many families planning parties and activities that don’t break the Covid restrictions. So that’s more reason than ever to go to town on the home decor front if only to keep things as enjoyable as possible for the little ones. This year retailers have embraced the idea of stay-at-home parties that limit the guest list to one household, with Asda in particular showing how this can be fun for the whole family.

At the last door they discover a witch (their mum in costume) and her spooky abode (the living room decked out in
Halloween decorations, lanterns and cobwebs).

Sainsbury’s have gone for a grown-up look with some of their Halloween accessories, with black and gold disposable tablewear teamed with real glasses and elegant candles.
