● St Johnstone have confirmed Scott Boyd will take over as head of football operations this month with Kirsten Robertson stepping down.

Robertson is leaving her role due to increased family commitments in Kilmarnock.

Former Ross County sporting director Boyd, who played for the Staggies, will take over before the end of April.

Robertson told the club’s official website: “I’m extremely sad to be leaving St Johnstone but it is the right thing for me to return to living in Ayrshire at this point in time.”

● Deveronvale have announced defender Aaron Hamilton will remain at the club for the 2021-22 season after penning a new deal.

The former Forres Mechanics man, 25, has also turned out for Lossiemouth and Elgin City.

Vale manager Craig Stewart thinks his experience is important to the Princess Royal Park outfit, saying: “I’m very pleased that Aaron has signed on again at PRP.

“Whilst we had only a few league and cup games last season, he’s an experienced player who showed up well in those games and I believe he will do well for Vale when the new season starts towards the end of July.”

● Nairn County defender Calum Maclean and midfielder Kenny McKenzie have signed new contracts with the Station Park side until the summer of 2022.

The duo joined County from Fort William in the summer of 2015.

● Meanwhile, Clachnacuddin have announced defender Ryan Mackintosh has penned an extension to his current contract.

A Clachnacuddin statement said: “Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the squad, and we are delighted he has decided to extend his stay at the club.”
