Two new trustees for board of rural charity
Rural charity RSABI has appointed two new trustees to its board.
Stephen Young, head of policy at Scottish Lands & Estates, and Rebecca Dawes, a co-founder of the Rural Youth Project, both have backgrounds in farming.
They join current board members which include chairman David Leggat, vice-chairman Jimmy McLean, Christine Bowie, Robin Dandie, Patricia Glennie, Hamish Lean, Mairi Mackenzie, Jane Mitchell and Johnny Watson. David Leggat said: “I’m delighted to welcome Rebecca and Stephen to our board. They both bring fantastic experience, insight and connections that will be incredibly valuable to the charity, as well as great enthusiasm for the work of RSABI.”
The new appointments follow a recruitment drive that aimed to bring fresh perspective to the charity’s board.
