City star is back with killer role in Heathers

Aberdonian star Jenna Innes is returning to Westerberg High School as Heathers The Musical comes to His Majesty’s Theatre.

Jenna will don the blue once more when she takes to the stage as Veronica Sawyer, famously played by Winona Ryder in the 1989 film of the same name, from September 24-28.

Director of programming and creative projects, Ben Torrie, said: “Jenna proudly hails from Aberdeen and has a long history of charming our His Majesty’s audiences, having the title role in our 2018 panto, Snow White for the season in 2018/19.

“With a big local following, we are sure Jenna will get a very warm welcome when she returns with a hugely talented cast in this amazing production which has been garnering rave reviews in London and around the country.”

Heathers The Musical follows Jenna’s character Veronica as she is taken under the wing of three beautiful but cruel Heathers at Westerberg – where popularity is a matter of life and death – before rebel JD teaches her it might kill to be a nobody, but its murder being a somebody.
