Future Forestry is a long-established, fully-insured, family-run tree-surgery business based in Aberdeenshire with highly-skilled, appropriately-qualified staff, and an exemplary safety record.

Being in business for more than 20 years, we have accrued a wide range of experience working for domestic and commercial clients.

Our services include tree felling; dismantling of trees, either using climbers or mobile platforms in technically challenging circumstances where houses, roads, greenhouses, gas tanks, and electricity and phone wires may be present; tree pruning; hedge cutting; stump-grinding; and a 24hour emergency call-out service.

All work is carried out to British Standards (BS 3998).

Where necessary, we will liaise with the appropriate authorities with regards to sites with Tree Preservation Orders, sites in conservation areas or sites requiring road closures and electricity outages.

We can also advise on replacement tree planting and carry out the planting work.

Prior to any quotations for work, we will undertake a site visit, where prospective clients can discuss their needs and possible options with our surveying team.

This allows an accurate appraisal of the work involved and an accurate quote. This service is provided free of charge.

Over the past few years, we have gradually built up the firewood side of our business ensuring that the logs we supply are well seasoned.

Our logs are split and sold in cubic metres, with options available for ordering hardwoods, softwoods, or a mixed load of hardwoods and softwoods.

On week days, we aim to deliver within 24 hours of receiving your order.
