Police car vandalised

A police car was vandalised in a Highland village in the early hours of Sunday morning while officers dealt with a disturbance nearby.

The driver’s side door mirror of the vehicle was damaged while it was parked outside Lairg community hall.

Police officers were inside the building.

The vandalism happened some time between 1.15am and 2am. A police spokesman said officers were dealing with a fight inside.
