Homing in on Crathes

-

Stewart Milne Homes is announcing one of its most exclusive developments to date as it unveils plans for The Gardens at Crathes.

The Gardens will be a collection of 35 luxury detached family homes all with four or five bedrooms. There will be eight home designs to choose from, including two which have been designed exclusively for the new development.

With one of the most sought-after post codes in Aberdeenshire, the development will appeal to the discerning buyer. Living in The Gardens means buyers will be just a short distance from the affluent town of Banchory. They will be surrounded by some of Aberdeenshire’s most beautiful scenery including Crathes Castle and its scenic woodland walks and of course the River Dee. It’s also an easy commute to Aberdeencity centre taking around 30 minutes by car and buses run every 20 minutes.

Work on the development was due to start this month with the first homes being ready to move into from February next year. A showhome is scheduled to open in January to give people a taste of what life could be like at The Gardens.

Stewart Milne Homes’ award- winning design team has considered the wider landscape when creating the development. The tree-lined avenues lead to informal landscaped streets and lanes, and there’s a footpath leading to the nearby woodland areas. The homes have also been carefully positioned to frame the stunning countryside views to the south.

All of the homes are spacious, light and airy with well-planned living areas and have been designed to provide flexible family living to suit the ever- changing modern lifestyle.

Mike Sutcliffe, sales and marketing director for Stewart Milne Homes, said: “There’s no doubt that the location of this development will be a strong motive for our buyers, as Crathes is definitely one of the most desirable places to live in Aberdeenshire. Couple that with some beautifully crafted houses and you’ve got the perfect combination to set up a new home.”
