Merlins conjure double success

AAM Merlins Gordonians won twice at the weekend to move up to third in National League Division 2.

Aberdeen University and Granite City Wanderers, however, each narrowly lost both their matches over the weekend.

In the Scottish championship Leagues both Aberdeen Bon Accord MBC and Aberdeen Ladies lost their last matches in the first part of the season.

Aberdeen Ladies have finished in the top half of Division B and join the top half of Division A for the remainder of the season while Aberdeen Bon Accord MBC go into the other new league to complete their fixtures.

In North District Division 1 Quasar beat Highland by the odd goal in five and Ellon shared a goalless draw against Granite City Wanderers 2nds.
