Diving boat ran aground

A lifeboat was sent to assist divers after their boat ran aground in Wester Ross yesterday.

Kyle of Lochalsh lifeboat was launched at 2.22pm after a fish farm vessel spotted the two people aboard the dive boat in trouble at Loch Kishorn.

The lifeboat stood by the stricken vessel to assess the damage before it was towed to safety. Nobody was injured.
