Flooding closes road

Flooding caused by hours of heavy rainfall in Argyll left the main road between Oban and Lochgilphead closed for several hours yesterday.

High water levels at the Meadows between Lochgilphead and Cairnbaan and at Kilmartin on the A816 closed the road to vehicles for most of the day.
