Game on as DFB defiant
German football’s governing body has confirmed tomorrow’s friendly fixture against Holland will be played.
Germany’s players and staff were forced to sleep in the Stade de France after Friday’s 2-0 friendly defeat by France, during which the attacks in Paris began, but the DFB is determined to play the fixture at Hannover’s HDIArena.
Dr Reinhard Rauball, the DFB’s vice-president, said: “The message is clear – we will not be intimidated by terror.”
