feels they have been fortunate to find themselves still in with a shout but cannot afford any more slip-ups.

He said: “We knew we had to win on Tuesday but this weekend becomes huge for us. We have to give it 100 per cent. We all agree, having kept track of all the results, we have to take one of these chances sooner or later. This is probably do or die – we have to get the win.

“In a way I’m not surprised we’re still in there as it’s a really competitive league that will go to the wire. We can count ourselves lucky that we’re still in with a chance but it’s still Elgin City manager Gavin Price is unlikely to risk striker Shane Sutherland for the Black and Whites’ vital trip to Stenhousemuir today.

However, the artificial surface at Stenny’s Ochilview could put paid to Sutherland’s chances of featuring today, with Price keen to protect him so early on in his return.

Price said: “I thought Shane did well. He’s not as sharp, which is the side that beat them at Central Park last Saturday.

Price added: “It change. We don’t approach away games any different to our home games, and our home form is incredible.

“We can’t put our finger on it. People say travel sickness but most of the boys doesn’t really matter about other clubs, it’s about what we do.

“We’re not going to make the target we set the lads but we’re not giving up the ghost.

“There was a few harsh words after the game and there’s only one group of guys that can turn it into a positive.

“We’re lucky we’ve got the chance against Stenny on Saturday.

“It’s last-chance are from down the road. It doesn’t bother me where we play and the boys and Gavin Price have tried everything.

“Hopefully Saturday is where it changes.” saloon. We need to go treat it as a cup final. Get through it and see where it takes us.
