Worker airlifted to shore
A 59-year-old oil worker was airlifted to hospital in Shetland yesterday by the Coastguard.
The male oil worker was based on the Bruce Platform, from where assistance was requested at 10.30am.
He was airlifted back to shore by helicopter and taken to Tingwall Airport before being transferred to Gilbert Bain Hospital for treatment.
His condition is unknown.
