Bute House reopens after £500k works
The first minister is to move back into her official residence following over £500,000 of repairs.
Bute House, in Edinburgh’s Charlotte Square, was closed last year after an inspection found urgent ceiling works were needed. Meetings of the Scottish Cabinet took place at St Andrew’s House. Maintenance and modernisation, including the installation of heating throughout the building, also took place.
