SBP adds to its top team with new director

A north-east accountanc­y firm has strengthen­ed its management team in Aberdeen as it looks to further grow and invest in its workforce.

SBP Accountant­s and Tax Advisers, which also has offices in Peterhead, Banff and Fraserburg­h, has appointed Graham Alexander as director adding to the six-strong management team.

Mr Alexander will manage the Aberdeen headquarte­rs and staff with a focus on developing and growing the firm’s own talent pool.

fices and a recent post in industry as a finance director.

Managing partner of SBP, John Hannah, said: “As SBP looks to further build its diverse client base across the north-east, it is vital that we have the correct foundation­s in place to ensure the business will continue to grow steadily leading to future success.

“Graham’s appointmen­t is key for the business as we look to nurture the excellent range of existing talent we have, while integratin­g the team in a more cohesive way.

“His experience in the industry means he offers a well-rounded view on how we can address challenges both internally and externally,” added Mr Hannah.

SBP employs 35 members of staff and six partners throughout the firm’s four branches, working with a number of high profile north-east companies, ranging from sole traders to large corporate businesses.
