Law and MacIntyre ease into the top 10 in China

Aberdeen’s David Law and Oban’s Robert MacIntyre are inside the top 10 at the halfway stage of the Challenge Tour’s Yunnan Open in China.

Law and MacIntyre are tied eighth after following up opening rounds of 70 with 69s to sit on three under overall.

After recovering from double bogeys at the first and third holes, Law made seven birdies during his second round, while MacIntyre also fought back after a double at the opening hole.

Glasgow’s Scott Henry is tied second on five under – two shots behind Finnish leader Kim Koivu.

Grantown’s Duncan Stewart, on three over par, made the cut with nothing to spare after rounds of 77 and 68.
