Dingwall prepares for bull sale and show

Dingwall and Highland Marts is preparing to host its annual show and sale of bulls next week.

The fixture, which takes place on Wednesday, has attracted 38 entries of pedigree and commercial bulls.

These include: two Beef Shorthorn; eight Aberdeen-Angus; four Charolais; 14 Limousin; seven Simmental; two Salers and one Luing.

The mart’s managing director, Ian Tolmie, said: “There are some decent bulls on offer that are ready to go out and work.”

The pre-sale show, which is sponsored by Messrs Mackenzie at Whitebog Farm, Fortrose, and Aardvark Contracting, kicks off at 9am, followed by the sale at 11am. The judge is Da-
