Energy experts tackle big issues

What: Energy Institute Young Professionals Network (EIYPN) event.

Where: Nexen Petroleum UK, Prime Four Business Park, Kingswells, Aberdeen.

Who: The expert panel of speakers at the event included Deirdre Michie (Oil & Gas UK), Ray Riddoch (Nexen), Alan Johnstone (Wood), Jessica Thomson (Spirit Energy) and Andrew Gardner (INEOS).

Why: In the typical EIYPN event “question time” format, young professionals in the Aberdeen area were given the opportunity to ask questions to a panel of industry leaders on key themes in the UKCS. These themes included lessons learned, the shortterm future and long-term future of the UKCS.
