Highland closed in on promotion from National 3 after an eight-try win at Ardrossan Accies to pick up the maximum five points.
The Canal Park side requires only six points to go up with two games remaining.
Head coach Dave Carson was impressed by his side’s disciplined approach.
He said: “We went about our business in a calm manner to see off what could have been a banana skin for our hopes.
“We had the game won by half-time, and led 31-0 on the back of some fine all-round rugby, collecting our try bonus at the same time.
“We eased off in the second half and will now go to Haddington in the best of spirits before taking on St Boswells at Canal Park.”
The all-action efforts of Calum Carson resulted in the energetic flanker scoring a hat-trick of tries, while fellow forward Jese Koroitubuna picked up a brace. The other touchdowns were attributed to wingers Steve Rutledge and Mick Gordon. Centre Scott Fraser got in on the act with one of his own, and added three conversions.

the hopes of Murrayfield Wanderers, winning 57-21 in Edinburgh.
The game between Newton Stewart and St Boswells was called off after the Borders club was unable to raise a team.
A maximum five-point win at Haddington would likely be enough to take Highland up, given their superior points difference over Newton Stewart and St Boswells, and Carson added: “It would be good to wrap it up next week but even better to win the title in front of our own supporters on April 28.”
