Four new directors have been elected to serve on the board of Inverness Chamber of Commerce for the next three years.

Eunice McAdam, Andy Gray, Matthew Harmsworth and George Lowe were chosen by the chamber’s members and con- firmed at its annual meeting.

Ms McAdam is a partner at chartered accountants Saffery Champness, with more than 27 years of professional experience, and Mr Gray is a director with Allied Surveyors Scotland, where he heads the firm’s commercial department in the north.

Mr Harmsworth spent 10 years as a tree surgeon before selling that business and moving into consultancy. In 2013, he founded aerial imagery provider and drone filming specialist firm ROAVR UAS.

A senior sales executive with Highland Office Equipment, Mr Lowe has more than eight years’ ex- perience in the office equipment and printing industry, working throughout the Highlands and islands.

Chamber chief executive Stewart Nicol said: “Our new directors bring a vast amount of experience and expertise to the board and I am looking forward to working with them over the next three years to improve the business landscape in the Highlands.”

The chamber, now in its 125th year, held its annual meeting at Loch Ness Country House Hotel. It was followed by a keynote lunch, with guest speaker Professor Chris O’Neil, principal and chief executive of Inverness College UHI.
