Treat for riders at finish

-

Determined riders in this Sunday’s Etape Loch Ness cycle event will have even more motivation to reach the finish line, thanks to Harry Gow.

The baker has prepared 2,000 Dream Rings, nearly 6,000 brownies and 2,000 bitesize sausage rolls – and each rider who finishes will get a free treat.

Fraser Gow, Harry Gow director, said: “We’re delighted to be involved at the finish line once again.

“Everyone deserves a treat after completing such an epic and scenic Scottish sporting event.”

He added: “A Dream Ring might not be included in every athlete’s diet, but we hope they’ll go down well with locals and visitors taking part.”

The ride around Loch Ness has raised £700,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
