Henderson narrowly misses out

Aberdeen player Scott Henderson (Kings Links) missed out on a qualifying place after a play-off in yesterday’s Titleist and Footjoy PGA pros championship Scottish qualifier at Little Aston, Sutton Coldfield.

Henderson finished alongside Graham Forbes (Mar Hall), Graham Fox (Clydeway Golf ) and Chris McMaster (Downfield) on 75 but was the only one of the group to miss out after a sudden death play-off.

Keir McNicoll (Carnoustie) led the 12 qualifiers and earned the top prize of £500 after shooting a one-under-par 70.
