It’s three cheers for Rothes as they finish on high note

Speysiders beat Brora and climb to 10th in the table

Rothes made it 3-0 when Davidson’s shot was blocked by Malin but substitute MacKay, who had only been on the pitch for a minute, netted the rebound from eight yards.

Two minutes later Brora pulled one back with a looping 10-yard Steven Mackay header from Scott Lisle’s pin-point cross.

With four minutes to go Davidson hit the bar from 10 yards with only Malin to beat.
