Adams eyes up move for Vigurs

-

Plymouth Argyle manager Derek Adams is weighing up a move for Caley Thistle midfielder Iain Vigurs.

Inverness are looking to fend off interest from Championship rivals Dundee United by offering the 29-year-old a three-year deal with Adams waiting in the wings should the midfielder opt to taste football in England for the first time.

Vigurs began his career at Elgin City and moved to Caley Thistle in 2006 before joining Ross County three years later when Adams was in charge.

In 2013 Vigurs moved to Motherwell for a two season stay before returning to Inverness.

Inverness manager John Robertson said: “We have spoken to Iain about a three year deal and offered him the best we can.

“However I know that other clubs will be interested in him.

“Hopefully he will sign his deal with us as he would be a huge loss.”
