Potholes are a menace for cyclists
SIR, – With regards to John Maskame, hitting a pothole, falling off his bike and ending up in ARI (Press and Journal, April 25).
I am in full sympathy with his plight. It is a dreadful accident. I would like to mention my own accident; I dislocated my ankle two weeks ago.
I had the most wonderful speedy care from all of the professionals that treated me. I have the utmost admiration for all the health care I received, it was truly first class. In Mr Maskame’s case I feel the apologies should come from Aberdeenshire Council, their potholes around the shire are a disgrace.
How many more people are going to end up in hospital having come to a calamitous end by hitting those offending holes?
