‘Terrorist must be jailed for life’
A Swedish prosecutor has demanded a life sentence for an Uzbek man who confessed to ramming a stolen lorry into a crowd in Stockholm last year. The incident killed five people and injured 14.
Hans Ihrman said: “Anything but life is excluded. (Rakmat) Akilov is a security risk to society.” Akilov, 40, said he wanted to punish Sweden for joining a coalition against the Islamic State group.
