Dons club objectors wasting their time

SIr, – The Aberdeen Football Club move to Kingsford has now been well won and officially approved by Aberdeen City Council and plans can at last go ahead to start the work on what will be an international facility of considerable status to Aberdeen sport and Scottish football.

The objectors have no hope of appealing against this decision as it has the backing of the council and Holyrood and most importantly the people of Aberdeen who are now substantially supporting it, and they would be much better off by giving the money they are raising to a local community group in Kingswells that would welcome such a considerable contribution and put it to good use.
