McCann denies Kamara on his way out

-

Dundee manager Neil McCann has played down reports Glen Kamara could be on his way out of the club.

The former Arsenal midfielder has reportedly attracted interest from Celtic and Rangers, while Swansea are also believed to be keen on the 22-yearold, who joined the club last summer.

Ahead of today’s match at Motherwell, McCann said: “It’s all speculation but what I would say is it’s understandable why there has been speculation, he has been superb this year.

“He is under contract and we have had no offers.”

Motherwell boss Stephen Robinson is confident Curtis Main will be fit to face Dundee.

trained since Wednesday.

Nadir Ciftci (ankle) is a doubt but Andy Rose (collarbone), George Newell (fractured cheekbone), Peter Hartley (foot), Craig Tanner (knee) and Ellis Plummer (broken leg) remain on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, relegationthreatened Partick Thistle travel to St Johnstone with Jags goalkeeper Tomas Cerny insisting the quest for three points “100 per cent” overshadows his 100th appearance for the Maryhill men.

The 33-year-old goalkeeper, who joined the club from Hibernian in 2015, said: “It means a lot. It seemed far away when I first signed here, three years ago.

“So making my 100th appearance means a lot personally but in the grand scheme of things it doesn’t really mean anything.

“It is a big game for the club and we have to do our best to win it.”

St Johnstone have an unchanged squad to face Partick with midfielder Murray Davidson completing a two-match suspension.
