Young profession­als have a ball

What: Aberdeen Young Profession­als (AYP) Ball 2018.

Where: Doubletree by Hilton Treetops, Aberdeen.

Who: The event was sponsored by Peterson, Peter Vardy, Blackford Craft Distillery, Paragon Service Point and Fairytale Events and attended by members of the AYP networking group. The event was also hosted by TV magician Ben Hanlin, who wowed the audience with his magic tricks.

Why: Establishe­d in 2009, Aberdeen Young Profession­als is a networking group aimed at young profession­als who either work or are based in the Aberdeen area. The Aberdeen Young Profession­als Ball celebrated the mentoring scheme which brings fresh young talent together with those with experience and time to give to mentor the next generation, by awarding a Mentee and Mentor of the Year.
