More music planned with ‘Schools Out’ concert
Lossiemouth residents will be treated to another night of music after a weekend of performances entertained crowds.
The annual ‘Schools Out’ show will take place at the town hall following the bands’ success playing last weekend.
Moray Concert Brass (MCB) entertained with a rock and pop performance on Friday with renditions of Bohemian Rhapsody and Let Me Entertain You.
Saturday boasted a gala concert with MCB being accompanied by jazz trumpet and flugelhorn player Bruce Adams, trombone player Gordon Campbell and the Old Fountain Jazz Orchestra.
MCB’s musical director Glenn Munro debuted his ensemble GM Brass who took to the stage on Sunday in aid of the Pseudomyxoma Survivor charity and Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital.
All performers will take to the stage to perform the Schools Out gig.
Mr Munro, who organised the weekend festival, said: “This concert is a great opportunity for people who might have missed the concerts last weekend or just want to see another great concert to come along and celebrate the end of term with style.
“It is always one of the highlights of the year with the young players giving it their all before their well deserved summer break.”
Doors open for the performance at 7pm on Friday June 29.
Tickets are £8 for adults and £5 for concessions.
