Man is injured in pole attack

A man was left needing hospital treatment after he was attacked by a man wielding a metal pole.

The incident happened at about 2.30am yesterday in Mayfield Drive, Armadale, West Lothian.

The 41-year-old victim suffered injuries to his arms and had his car keys stolen.
