Saving Lives at Sea

(BBC2, 8pm-9pm) Rescuing sailors, divers and other souls from unforgiving waves rarely fails to stir the emotions, as this series proves. On the south coast of Devon, the crew of Salcombe lifeboat station are called to two of the highest levels of emergencies at sea including a Mayday call to a fisherman pulled to the bottom of the sea ensnared in his own fishing gear.
