Thailand’ s ailing queen suffers flu

Thailand’s Queen Sirikit is being treated in hospital for flu.

The royal palace said yesterday she was admitted to Chulalongkorn Hospital on Sunday with a fever and a cough.

She was recovering but remains in hospital on the recommendation of her doctors.

The queen has been in ill health for several years.
