Race to sign Staggies’ Morrison

Elgin City are locked in a race with Clyde and Stranraer to sign Ross County striker Greg Morrison who has been told that he can move out on loan.

The 20-year-old who has made seven appearances for the Dingwall first team had a spell playing in the Championship last season on loan at Dumbarton and County are keen for him to go out and gain further experience.

The Borough Briggs men hope their location will help bring Morrison on board with both Clyde and Stranraer looking to have an arrangement where Morrison trains with them one night a week and stays down for a game on the Saturday.
