RED DEVILS: JOSE NOT THE ONLY ONE TO BLAME FOR UNITED’ SS LOW START

-

The Premier League season is two games old in England but already Jose Mourinho is feeling the heat at Manchester United.

Much has been made of the third-season syndrome kicking in once more for Jose, after similar malaises at his former clubs but the United players should not get off so easily. They are equally culpable.

I watched United’s 3-2 loss at Brighton on Sunday and while Brighton deserved to win, they didn’t have to do an awful lot to claim the three points.

United have better players of a higher standard but when it came to workrate, Brighton were streets ahead.

The buck stops with the players for that, not the manager.

Paul Pogba and Fred are two who should be doing more for the cause.
