Youngster wins bake-off
A young baker has been crowned the winner of the Moray Junior Bake Off after creating a huge chocolate cake topped with Rudolph the Reindeer.
Ruby Jappy, 10, won the event at the Oakwood Cookery School near Elgin yesterday, which was created to encourage keen youngsters baking skills.
The chef defeated more than 30 other entrants to create the most stunning and delicious Christmasthemed design of the day.
More than £500 was raised for the Moray School Bank from the event, which supports children who cannot afford uniforms or warm winter clothes. to learn
