Aberdeen to fall silent
Aberdeen will fall silent tomorrow for a remembrance service with added poignancy.
Lord Provost Barney Crockett and others will join serving forces, reserves and veterans to commemorate the dead. A short ceremony will be held at the War Memorial on Schoolhill at 10.50am before the twominute silence at 11am.
Representatives of the Armed Forces and ex-service organisations will convene in Little Belmont Street from 10am and leave at 10.30am to parade to the War Memorial.
