Prime minister let down over Brexit

-

SIR, – The prime minister has been badly let down by all sides in the Brexit fiasco. The UK voted to leave. This vote should have been upheld and we should have been clear of the EU by now. It is blatantly obvious the perilous

state of some of the finances of our fellow Europeans means they will soon be looking for bail-outs from Britain.

No wonder they are making things difficult for us. If Margaret Thatcher had still been at the helm we would have been out, deal or no deal.

She would not have stood for the awkward stance adopted by the EU or our own parliamentarians. By the way, I am not a Conservative. Sandy Taylor, Craigenroan Place,
