Hotels on track for July launch
New Hilton and Aloft hotels for Aberdeen are on track for a July opening.
Andrew Robb, chief business development officer at RBH Hospitality Management, said the two hotels – part of the £333 million The Event Complex Aberdeen (Teca) development – were “progressing very well so far and looking great”.
Aloft Aberdeen Teca will be just next door to the new events venue, while the 200-bedroom Hilton Aberdeen Teca will adjoin its conference centre.

“We’re excited to be working on such a great project”
Aloft Aberdeen Teca will be the first of its brand in Scotland. It is targeting “the next generation of travellers”, with technology, live music and “urban-style interiors”.
RBH’s two new hotels – employing 150 people in total – will join a portfolio of 50 sites managed by the firm across the UK, including 11 in Scotland.
The list includes the Courtyard by Marriott Inverness Airport hotel.
Mr Robb, who hails from Aberdeen, said: “Both hotels represent a significant value to RBH in terms of prestige and quality of hotels, and we’re excited to be working on such a great project.”
The Teca development is scheduled to open this summer.
