Subsea UK chief executive Neil Gordon said: “One of Subsea UK’s key aims is to help our member companies grow, whether that is in the UK or internationally.

“Recently, we have had feedback that companies are struggling to access the funds and the support they need to support their long-term growth ambitions.

“This event is our direct response to this challenge and we have put together a programme of speakers who, with their breadth of knowledge and experience, will be able to provide expert advice and guidance on a range of financing solutions and support.”

Alan Dick, senior vicepresident, industry and technology, Simmons Energy, said: “We are starting to see significant opportunities for investment and M&A (mergers and acquisitions) activity.”
