Law firm unveils new ‘star signings’
Scottish law firm Burness Paull has unveiled two “star signings” to the partnership.
The first is Alasdair Sutherland, who is a practising advocate at the Scottish Bar where he is regarded as a leading counsel for planning and environment. He has been involved in some of the most high-profile planning cases in Scotland in recent years, including representing Aberdeen FC in resisting a challenge to the development of its new stadium at Kingsford.
Andrew Forsyth, joining from Brodies, has “substantial expertise in marine casualty and disease claims among wider general insurance litigation work”.
Both new partners will be central belt-based, working across all of the firm’s offices.
