Banks o’ Dee three and easy in quest for quadruple joy

Banks o’ Dee, pictured, picked up their third trophy of the campaign with a blistering first half performance at Crombie Park in the Dominos Pizza North Regional Cup final which saw them find the Hermes net six times.

The game was only two minutes old when Michael Philipson found the net with further strikes from Luke Barbour and Jack Henderson making it three by the 20-minute mark.

Nicky Gordon pulled one back after 23 minutes but Philipson, Kane Winton and Henderson all struck to make it 6-1 at the interval.

The second half was a quieter affair with the only goal coming via Hermes’ Michael Dawson with 12 minutes remaining. FIXTURES – FRIDAY MCLEMAN CUP – Final: Bridge of Don Thistle v Banks o’ Dee (at Ian Mair Park, kick-off 7.30pm).
