Lyth arts event a high-flier yet again

A Caithness arts extravaganza featured an array of storytelling sessions and craft activities – and even offered visitors to chance to brew up some nettle tea.

Lyth Arts Festival took place in the village’s arts centre for two days, with events spilling into the car park and gardens.

The Little Fawn Caravan returned with its magical miniature travelling puppet theatre and the Caithness Young Company performed their new promenade theatre show.

Gaelic storytelling took place in the gardens, while workshops and craft activities were inspired by the summer exhibition about the abandoned island of Stroma off Caithness.
