Lifeboat crew helps transfer island patient

Portree lifeboat crew members were paged early yesterday to assist the medical transfer of a patient from Raasay.

The crew were alerted at 4.21am at the request of the Scottish Ambulance Service after reports of a suspected broken arm.

The patient was handed over to the care of the ambulance with the crew returning at 6.30am.
